We are delighted to announce that Alex Sutton has been appointed as the new Director of the A B Charitable Trust.

Alex has worked in grant-making for the last 9 years, most recently as Director of Grants at Trust for London, and prior to that as Head of Programme - Migration at the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

Before joining the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Alex worked for 15 years in various areas of social justice including migration, youth work, homelessness and international development. He was the social protection programme manager at the Overseas Development Institute, and deputy chief executive at Praxis Community Projects, an organisation supporting migrants and refugees in London.

We believe Alex’s experience, dedication, thoughtfulness and empathetic approach will be of great value to the work of the A B Charitable Trust going forwards.

We much look forward to welcoming Alex when he takes up his new role with us early in the New Year.
